IN MAY 2016, swimming great Michael Phelps and his wife Nicole Johnson welcomed a baby boy named Boomer. (Baby Boomer, geddit?)

A month later, they set up his first Instagram account. Soon, @boomerrphelps and his parents were sharing regular updates with the world about how he was progressing.

Boomer is now a verified member of the Instagram community and has 777,000 followers on Instagram. He’s not even one year old.

And with good reason.

Boomer Phelps is very, very good at Instagram.

In fact, he’s practically a social influencer.

Seriously, though. Look at this little fella.

You’re fundamentally broken inside if this doesn’t elicit a smile.
